The Calderone home is filled with fresh goodies this summer from Chris's garden. A green thumb really equals a big heart. He, along with horticulturist in training Liliana & mindful watchdog Scarlet, spends hours cultivating, pruning and bringing to life a colorful palette of coveted veggies. The meticulous care & sacred awe Chris bestows is apparent the second you take a bite of any marvelous treat to come out of the garden. They have been so generous to share with me their Chinese Eggplant, Jersey Tomatoes, an entire Fig tree & Sicilian Oregano. I can't wait for those Figs!
